From humble beginnings..
In 1962 two young Farmers Dorothy and Phillip McIvor were struggling to make ends meet so Dorothy, her mother and Mother in law decided to make cakes, biscuits and Jams to sell at the local market. Soon their biscuits were flying off the shelf.
A family owned business that has been baking biscuits since 1962
It wasn’t long before they were discovered by a wholesaler from the Lake District who asked if he could distribute their biscuits for them, soon word got around and Farmhouse Biscuits was born, the network of distributors grew and the farm was turned into a little biscuit factory.

Now nearly 60 years later we supply some of the countries most prestigious stores and our biscuits are enjoyed all over the world. We still hold our family values and traditions dear and our experienced and loyal bakery staff continue to bake the finest biscuits using the old traditional methods.
